Still trying to get blogger to work.
Probably not in fact. However, as I try again to get the blog started we'll see how well this posts.
There may be some news upcoming if I can get my server working properly with Blogger.

I've used blogger for blogs for some time now and found it very useful. However, it doesn't always work well. I have moved some blogs from an old server to the server on which this resides. Unfortunately, blogger will not let go of the old paths and details. This is an attempt to see what happens with a brand new blog.

As I update this I have just been elected one of eleven Liberal Democrat councillors in Epsom. I'm slowly adjusting to the needs and responsibilities of being a councillor - a slow learning process. I'm also recovering from a triple-bypass in March. I'm finding it very frustrating not being able to work yet but even moreso not being able to ride my motorbike. I have started to do very short trips and will hopefully increase my range slowly. I feel better than I have for years and am so glad I had the op. Next task is to start looking for another contract - I'll probably being able to do that at the end of june. Also need to complete building works and decorating house. We have recently had a new bathroom and converted a garage/workshop intl an office. The new stuff makes the old look much shabbier. Hence the desire to get on and finish.
